Hint Hint Papa

My mom and I went to JO-ANN's today after school and saw this awesome sewing machine.  It is a Viking Emerald 183 and it is soooo cool.  It can sew a heart, lightning, leaf, and bicycle stitch.  I tried it out and I loved it.  I love the computerized panel that controls the length, the width, and the type of stitch.  I hope my first car drives as smooth as this machine.
So, what am I doing right now?  Posting on my blog (obviously) while listening to "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger (my dad's jams), waiting for my two Rubio's fish tacos, and wishing I had a certain sewing machine.

Thanks Ben and Jerry

This is a picture of my gingerbread house entry last year at the Biltmore.  This was the second year that I've entered in a contest, and I have won prizes both times.
I got the idea for a barn gingerbread house because I love farm animals.  I got the template off of Ben and Jerry's website, applied it to scale, and made fondant animals around a little pond.
Was it hard? No. Will I do it again? I hope so. Visit my blog again this week to hear about my experience watching Les Miserables on stage for the first time.
