Yesterday, I finished The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray. It is the sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels. This book was really good but depressing and disappointing in the end. Once I finished it, I couldn't get it out of my mind. I reread parts of it, talked to my mom, my dad, and my friend about it, and wrote about it. One of my favorite characters, Kartik, sacrifices himself to save Gemma. I think that this was unnecessary.
The rest of the book was really good. I loved the climax because it was sooooo suspenseful. I wish Bray would write a sequel to this book. I would call it a tri-quel.
