Greetings From England

A few months ago, my Aunt Wendy went to England. She just got back. While she was there, she got my family and me a bunch of awesome souvenirs. I got a Wicked CD, a Wicked shirt, a Scottish dragon, and British coins. I think the coins are soooo cool. I especially love the two pence piece. Thanks soooo much, Wendy!

Beware, They May Be Smaller Than Intended

About a week ago, I learned how to make a loom hat. I can't wait to see mine when it's finished. I just love the green next to the brown. It is really easy and super fun. I think I'll make them as gifts if I get really good at it.

Meet Feathers

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy making my peacock friend, Feathers. I finished crocheting him today, and I hope that if I make more, they will sell on Etsy. I really love crocheting and do it every time I get the chance. It's like a lost art.

Bento Lunch

It's school again! Ughh. Here's a picture of my lunch for tomorrow. It's a "Bento" box, which is really just a bunch of food shaped cutely so kids will eat it. My mom absolutely loves Bento boxes and so she bought these plastic versions. Inside, you can see half a ham sandwich, pasta with balsamic vinaigrette, celery sticks with buttermilk ranch dressing, a nectarine, and a chocolate chickadee. Yum yum!

Oh and I'll try the giveaway again. I heard from my aunt that the comments wouldn't post for that day. Sorry about that!

Is Crocheting Really That Bad?

Uhm, no one left a comment, but that's okay. I'll try again some other time. Oh, and you either hate crocheting, are so good at it you don't need a book, or I'm blogging to myself. Please let it be the first two!

My First Blog Reader GIVEAWAY!

Hooray! I'm hostess-ing my first Blog Reader Giveaway! The little red crocheted square is something that I'm working on. When I went to my grandma's house, she taught me how to make it. I know it's awesome. Right now it's just a pot holder, but picture 47 more, and you have a quilt. If you want to see an awesome crocheter, then check out willynillywaterlily.blogspot.com or click here. She is the master of cuteness, and I hope I learn to crochet as well as she does.

So, for my first giveaway, I'm giving you The Cool Girl's Guide to Crochet. It's a book that teaches you to crochet, and it has some great projects inside. Now, all you have to do is leave a comment, and I'll randomly select the winner on Wednesday night. Please no out of the United States entries. Sorry, but my budget can't cover foreign shipping!

Good luck and look forward to more giveaways!
