This week, I'm reading The Life of Pi by Yann Martel. It is a fictional story about a sixteen- year-old named Piscine Molitor Patel, more commonly known as Pi Patel. When Pi's father sells his zoo, he takes the animals aboard a Japanese ship to sell in Canada. However, the ship sinks and only Pi, a hyena, an orangutan, a zebra, and a tiger make it on a life boat. Soon, only Pi and the tiger are alive. In the part that I'm reading, Pi is going mad, thinking that the tiger is talking to him. I haven't finished it yet--I'll let you know what I think of the book when I'm done.
