Yesterday, I went to see my favorite musical called Into the Woods. I have been watching it on video and DVD since I was a toddler, but I have never seen it live. The play is a combination of several stories: Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. Throw in a childless baker and his wife, a witch, and a not so objective narrator and you have one of Stephen Sondheim's greatest works. (Actually, it's the only one I've ever seen of Sondheim's.) Every single song is magnificent, and they're funny too. The actors were really good, and I wish I could see it again.
Prior to the show, Papa took my mom and me to a Greek cafe. Check out my meal. It was awesome.
