This month I've read The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. The book was told in little vignettes, and it was really good. Other books that I've read or am in the middle of reading are: Pearl S. Buck's The Good Earth, George Orwell's 1984, John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. All good reads for a tween on summer break.
